Linda has served on the Board of Directors of Youth Educated At Home (YEAH) since 1995 and was one of the founders of the YEAH Academy in 1998.
For the past 10 years, Linda has served as a tutor in the YEAH Academy, providing instruction to high school students in academic study skills (Educational Skills), college and employment planning (Post High School Transitions), and personal finance. Many of her students have returned on college breaks to tell her that her courses have made a real difference in their college success.
She conceived of, and has coordinated, the YEAH Home School College Fair for the past six years, an event that has grown in popularity with both students and colleges. |
